about

Attack Release is a monthly live experimental electronic music club based in Glasgow. Run by Ty Lumnus (Fraser Rowan) and Gaming (Alan Bryden) the club (as well as the venue, Bloc+) is an inclusive and welcoming safe space.

Attack Release started in July 2022 as a place for artists to perform and experiment in an encouraging environment. We curate 3 artists per session. For some it is their first ever gig or their first live performance as an electronic artist. Then there's the seasoned veterans: the fully fledged, road worn global touring artists.

All the music we play through the night (between the artists) comes from past Attack Release performers. We aim to actively promote and support all artists that have played our night beyond their set for us.

Community is at the heart of Attack Release. Bringing together artists at various stages of their journey, and the audience. We fully encourage the audience to chat with the artists and to check out their setups - to proper geek out.

At the point of release of this compilation we have hosted 45 artists and this release showcases 18 of them. The talent we've had has been exceptional and there's no shortage of artists queuing up to play. (There's a 6 month waiting list.)
